As part of the “Our Time to Speak” initiative, which aims to build a network of Lebanese activists and working groups committed to strengthening citizenship and its values as a way to restore the social contract threatened with disintegration, and in cooperation with the “Manaateq Net” platform, a series of reports has been launched highlighting working groups that initiated local projects during wartime. In this report, we present the “Coat” campaign, launched by three working groups: the Cultural Council for Southern Lebanon, the Hani Fahs Initiative, and the Reefna Association, aiming to support, host, and provide assistance to displaced people.
