In November, our team completed a transformative project in Sawfar, constructing a small artificial pond designed to collect and store approximately 500 cubic meters of rainwater. Strategically located near the main road, this pond serves multiple purposes, providing critical support to the local community. Surrounding farmers can now use the collected water to irrigate their crops and trees, ensuring more sustainable agricultural practices. Additionally, a nearby school benefits from access to this resource, enhancing its water security. The pond’s accessibility also aids the local civil defense, offering a reliable water source for extinguishing fires in the area, thereby enhancing community safety and resilience. This project exemplifies our commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment.
