Hussein Hayek has launched a ready-to-wear clothing brand named "Made in South Lebanon"; as the name implies, his products are manufactured locally. According to Hayek, the initiative aims to "rise from the destruction and overcome the losses caused by the Israeli war on Lebanon—which displaced thousands from their homes and villages—while simultaneously encouraging local industry, investing in and operating factories, and striving to support the region's economy.
